  • Chairman of the Committee on Commerce & Tourism (two terms), supervised and managed ~5 legislative and committee staff, drafting attorneys, and served on both the Appropriations Committee and policy committees

  • Successfully lobbied the Governor to expand healthcare through telehealth platforms during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

  • Led economic incentive projects in collaboration with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) to strategically align policymakers, resulting in record-breaking investments from 2020 to 2022

  • Authored over 20 Public Acts, including legislation to modernize government procurement, regulate cryptocurrency, bolster economic development incentives, aid small businesses, and promote economic diversification

  • Strategically secured a $5 billion investment for the second-largest collocated data center in the US

  • Chief advocate for small-business acceleration package to aid with state grants, entrepreneurial growth, and procurement

  • Saved $2.1 million in road funding and reduced annual maintenance costs by $230,000 by eliminating redundancies and strategically engaging internal stakeholders, community leaders, and local government agencies

  • Vastly increased MSU’s student voter turnout from 1.8% to roughly 10% of the student body through targeted marketing, strategic partnerships with non-governmental organizations, and cutting-edge advocacy efforts.
